Through Expansion, 2018

Cut paper. Drop-wall box.

This piece is a meditation on splicing memories through continual remembrance. The borrowed memory sits on a pedestal within the box, enclosed and protected by walls that fall away once the lid is lifted. To enclose the memory again, time and care must be spent to close all four walls and slip them back into their protection.
